After the swelling went down, the hospital's diagnosis is that George has unfortunately suffered a dislocated ankle and fractured his tibia bone along with ligament and tissue damage.

Unassuming George was due to have surgery yesterday after writing this post, so hopefully all went well and is now on the road to recovery.

I am sure you will ALL agree that we wish George and the Windsor family Russ, Mandy, Chloe, Tom and Sam all the very best, and that you are all in our thoughts during this difficult, unpleasant and trying time.
