With trialists on show, who all gave sound performances, The Moles sent 2 teams to Matthew Arnold 3G where the 1st half team, whilst having the majority of possession, could only muster up one goal from George Windsor, after some good saves from the Lammas 'keeper and near misses keeping the score down to the single goal.

The second team again had the majority of play with some neat pass and move style created chance after chance, then eventually The Moles took their chances scoring 4 with a hat trick from Umotong and Charles finishing off a fine move. Again chances went a begging and had it not been for Lammas 'keeper the score could easily have been much more. Staines Lammas single reply was a well taken wonder strike.

However, it was a good work out for the lads but stiffer tests lie ahead commencing this Saturday 5 July at Xcel, Walton against Calor Southern League Div. 1 Central opponents UXBRIDGE who finished a commendable 10th last season. - Kick off 2.15pm

After that, the following Saturday 12 July, we entertain Sussex League Div. 1 outfit DORKING WANDERERS at Xcel, Walton - kick off 1.15pm who drew 2-2 with Walton Casuals on Saturday.
