In a high tempo competative match with few clear cut chances, it was left to Staforde Palmer who has carried on where he left off last season, by notching the winner with a fine strike from the edge of the box into the far corner leaving Hanworth Villa keeper with no chance.
Overall, it was pleasing performance with a good chance to see many new players on show, as will be the case when the Moles face a much sterner test when they play their second pre-season fixture against Ryman Premier's Harrow Borough this Saturday 11 July at Harefield Academy, Northwood Way, Harefield UN9 6ET. - Kick off 1pm.
