Molesey 4 v 0 Holmer Green
It doesn’t matter what team has been put in the way of Peter Doherty’s Molesey side as they always seem to play through them and come away with a deserved victory.
Molesey faced Holmer Green on Saturday and from the First whistle they looked a little jaded. Despite this start it only took 27 minutes for normal service to resume. From the first corner of the match the ball was crossed into the penalty area for an unchallenged Aleman to rise and head home the optning goal.
From this moment on it looked as though Molesey would continue this impressive 100% start to the season. On the 40th minute, a fine interchange of play in the midfield eventually saw the ball played through to Everatt but his shot on the run was saved by the goalkeepers legs.
2 minutes later a ball down the wing was crossed in and a first time volley was superbly finished by Everatt to make it two nil at half time!
The second half saw not much of a fight from the opposition and another two goal saw Molesey run out easy winners in the end.
The third goal came on the on the 71st minute whena a great flowing team movement saw the ball come to Hombessa and he slotted the ball into the Holmer Green net with ease!
The fourth and final goal came in the 88th minute direct from a Free kick on the right side. Grobler saw the Holmer goalkeeper badly positioned and he sent the freekick neatly over the keepers outstretched arms and saw it nestle into in the top far corner to make it a pleasing four - nil success. Apart from the pace and movement of the Molesey team it is very noticeable of the commitment of the players. No better exemplified be the tackling and leadership at the back by
