SCR 1 Molesey 1

Honours were even at Gander Green Lane in the extra preliminary round of the Fa cup.
SCR took the lead in the 18th minute after Liam Allen ventured outside the box to clear a bouncing back pass but totally miss judged the affects from the 3G pitch, leaving the striker a simple tap in.
Molesey pushed forward and were rewarded for their efforts in the 32nd minute when Reis Stanislaus was pulled down in the box. There seemed some confusion as Reis looked like he was going to take the penalty but Joe Pratley Jones stepped up as captain and had his shot saved. 3 minutes later Molesey were rewarded for their pressure when a Marlon Pinder shot was deflected into the net.
Before the end of the half the heavens opened what can only be described as a tropical rain storm dampened the end to a good 1st half.
The 2nd half saw both team cancel each other out and will be remembered for yet another major injury, this time to Antony Kozakis who had earlier replaced goal scorer Marlon, Dre Grobler who came on for the injured Kozakis but had little time to make an impact.
The replay takes place this Tuesday 13th at Walton Road, kick off 7.45
