Molesey 1 V 2 Staines and Lammas

The first game of this season for both teams seemed very early as it doesn’t seam that long since the last season ended. Staines seamed to start the game much brighter and seemed to take the upper hand and soon had some close encounters nut failed to score!
On the 35th minute the first goal was scored by Staines when a deflected shot by Goddard went past the unlucky Conway to open the scoring in what had been a tight match!
The score remained 0-1 until the 55th minute when a well worked goal was scored for Molesey by Subramaniam. This was his first goal for the club. The game started to open up and both sides had good chanced but no team could find the decisive opening. In the 85th minute won a penalty which was duly scored and Staines held on for a dramatic but undeserved late win and 3 valuable points.
Molesey can make things better quickly with another game on Tuesday with an Away fixture or next Saturday with another Home fixture!
