A game that will be remembered for missed chances.
Both teams game plans changed as early as the 7 minute when CB's center back was sent off for a desperate last man challenge on Reis Stanislaus.
Jerrel Glimbb had the 1st chance of the game, when he was unmarked at the at the back post but couldn't hit the target.
Hallina Masembe broke free and was straight on goal but managed to shoot wide of the advancing keeper and wider of the goal.
CB did push forward but with Liam Allen dealing with everything easily. Ryan Marklew was the next Molesey player to waste a good opportunity with a soft shoot straight at the keeper. Joe Pratley-Jones made an important clearance when he skillfully flicked a CB shoot over the bar. In the 36 minute Reis thought he had broken the dead lock but was deemed off side. Reis finished the 1st half action with another wayward shoot, having cut in well from the right hand side.
The 2nd half started slowly with Molesey possibly forgetting they had an extra man advantage. CB did starter the better of the 2 teams and when PJ cleared 1 off the line , this seemed to finally wake Molesey . Reis made the CB keeper pull off 2 great 1 handed saves from shoots outside the area. CB kept trying to catch Molesey on the break and on 1 of these counter attacks PJ received a yellow card when he brought the CB winger down with a poor rugby tackle. Ryan Marklew also picked up another yellow for a late challenge. CB went down to 9 when their 14 lead with elbow and was rightly sent off but it was PJ's reaction that saw him also take an early shower with his 2nd yellow.
Both teams had half chances to win it at the death but it will be Molesey who will look back on their missed chances, that could have seen them with all 3 points.
