Molesey take 6 points on the road

Molesey take 6 points on the road, with a 1 nil win at Hanworth Villa.
The 1st chance of the game fell to Villa but it was a routine save for Liam Allen to make. It wasn't until the 12th minute for Molesey to registrar their 1st effort on goal when Reis Stanislaus shot wide. The game was end to end with both sides working hard but with little end results. Chris Wales picked up the 1st yellow card of the afternoon when he just miss timed a challenge on theVilla's center forward. Dre Grobler who was causing problems in midfield but had a few chances which all went some way wide. Jamie Di Guiseppe replaced Chris who was experiencing breathing problems just after the half hour, Just after Craig Lewington's swung in a pinpoint free kick which just needed any form of a touch and the Moles would have been 1 up. Jermell Jno-Baptiste got the ball tangled between his feet and when it did spring out,it fell to Reis but on his left foot which he could only shoot straight at the keeper who used his feet well to deflect the ball away. Reis was also part of a good build up from Molesey to put Ryan Marklew through but again the shoot was way wide of the target.

The 1st chance of the 2nd half was given to Villa after a mix up between Joe Pratley-jones and Jamie but the offer was wasted.
Midway through the half Reis had another chance again on his left foot but was easily saved.
Daniel Campion replaced Jermell midway through the half and was his ever busy self for the remaninder of the game.
Joe Pratley-jones's long throw cause Villa problems all afternoon but was again booked for petulant foul just outside the box.
The last change of the day was Marlon Pinder who replaced the hard working Dre.
Molesey had the better of the chances with Ryan, Reis and Marlon all squandering chances.
With 5 minutes to go, a game of head tennis between the Molesey attack and the Villa defenders resulted in Marlon having a free head in front of goal but this time the chance was taken, putting Molesey 1 up.
The goal did give life back into the Villa's attack but Liam dealt commandingly with all of their threats.
Final result Hanworth Villa 0 Molesey 1
