Molesey were 2nd best to a resilient Abbey Rangers side who where buoyant after their midweek win in their FA cup replay.
Much so that Abbey took the lead in the 7th minute after good work through the midfield with a well worked goal.
The lead only last a hand full of minutes, when Reis Stanislaus brought down a cross from JamievDeGussepi and fired in the equalizer.
Chances were few and far between, until a cross that wasn't dealt with by the Molesey deference and the jury is still out on the verdict, own goal from Liam Allen or a great header from the Abbey striker?
The 2nd half was slow in getting going.
The ref must have felt he should liven things up when he deemed Reis had used excessive force on a challenge on an Abbey midfielder and subsequently sent the Molesey striker off? Molesey then seemed to grow when Abbey should have capabilities on the extra man.
The ref carried on with his 1 sided use of the yellow card towards the molesey team, for a game that was never going to boil over.
The game finally finished just before 5pm? 2-1 to Abbey.
Next up for Molesey is a home fixture this Saturday to Frimley Green
